Therapy should be a safe, supportive environment, where you can work through emotional, mental, or relational issues with the guidance of a trained professional. It helps you gain insight, develop coping skills, and find a past forward for healing and personal growth.
If you’re struggling with emotions, relationships, or mental health issues like anxiety or depression, therapy can be a helpful way to process those challenges. Therapy can also help if you’re going through a life transition or seeking personal growth.

There are several benefits to choosing self-pay for therapy services:
Greater privacy and confidentiality: Your records stay between you and your therapist. Insurance companies require access to documentation and progress notes. With self-pay, your information remains private and protected.
No formal diagnosis required: Insurance companies typically require a mental health diagnosis to approve and continue services. Self-pay gives you the freedom to seek support without having a diagnosis attached to your health record.
More flexibility in care: You and your clinician decide what’s best for your healing journey, including the length and frequency of sessions. This means you can opt for extended sessions (like 90 minutes) when needed, without insurance limitations.
No service restrictions: Insurance may limit what types of therapy are covered or how many sessions you can attend. Self-pay ensures you get the care you need, on your own terms.
We require a 24-hour notice for cancellations. If a session is canceled less than 24 hours in advance, a cancellation fee may apply. We understand that emergencies happen, and in those cases, cancellations are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Your privacy and confidentiality are incredibly important to me. We use HIPAA-compliant video platforms to conduct virtual therapy sessions, ensuring that your personal information is protected. All communications, whether in-person or online, are kept confidential and stored securely. If you have any questions about privacy during virtual sessions, please feel free to ask.
